The ride height adjusters on this site provides a fixed ride and seat height that either lowers or increases the ride height of your motorbike. All ride height adjuster kits comes with installation instructions. These ride and seat height adjustment kits contain depending on your motorcycle model either two new tie-rod suspension links, or two new suspension linkage brackets. The kits alters the rear suspension and the bikes geometry. Lowering the seat height with a ride height lowering kit will inrease the bikes stability. Increasing the ride height with a ride height adjuster that lifts the rear suspension will quicken the steering of the bike.
If you lower the seat height you can lower the front suspension by sliding the front fork leg stancions upwards in the triple clamps. This work should be done one side at the time. You do not need any additional parts to lower the front forks. Note that when you lower the bike it will stand more upright on the sidestand. You may therefore like to shorten the sidestand.
Are ride height adjusters street legal? Legislation varies in countries around the world. Check your the legislation in your country. In general ride height adjusters are street legal, but you may have to show and approve your bike after fitting a kit as it modifies the suspension. This means that you as a buyer take the responsiblilty for to ensure that your bike is legal in your country and take any actions that may be neccessary to ensure your bike remains legal in your country( such as showing your bike for MOT (Motor Vechicle Inspection) should this be neccessary). What is inspected is that the wheel can move freely during the full suspension movement and that the trail of the front wheel is sufficient after fitting the kit.
